Office of Communications and Office of Government Relations

The University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Office of Communications and Public Affairs has been restructured into two separate entities to oversee interactions and activities with the community and to increase awareness of UPCI's novel programs in cancer research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education and patient care. The Office of Communication centers on business and the community, while the Office of Government Regulations advances the research interests of UPCI with government leaders and state and federal policymakers. Both Offices serve as administrative liaison to the UPMC Government Relations and Corporate Communications departments.
