Pink the Pete to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
and Survivors

Pink the PeteNancy E. Davidson, MD, director, UPCI and UPMC Cancer Centers, will act as guest coach for the University of Pittsburgh's women's basketball team at its annual Pink the Pete game. The Panthers take on the University of Louisville on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the John M. and Gertrude E. Petersen Events Center in Oakland.

The event intends to raise breast cancer awareness and to honor breast cancer survivors as well as those who have lost their battle with the disease. $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In order to "Pink Out" the Petersen Events Center, everyone attending the game is encouraged to wear pink.

As a guest coach, Dr. Davidson will join the Panthers for their pre-game chat, on the bench throughout the game, in timeout huddles, and press commitments after the game.

Admission to women's basketball games is free for UPMC faculty and staff and their immediate families. Adult general admission tickets are $5, youth and senior tickets are $2. For ticket information, visit the Panthers Ticket Office.
