Panera Bread has again partnered with UPMC Cancer Centers for "Operation Dough Nation." Starting in May, all money collected in Operation Dough Nation canisters at Panera locations will be donated to UPMC Cancer Centers' A Reason to Hope Cancer Fund. The canisters are in 27 Panera locations throughout the region.
In addition, Panera Bread locations in western Pennsylvania will hold free cancer risk assessments during the promotion.
The 2004 Operation Dough Nation raised $12,000 for A Reason to Hope Cancer Fund, which supports cancer research, medical education, and patient care at UPMC Cancer Centers and University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Visit www.panerabread.com/locations.aspx to find the location nearest you.
