UPMC Cancer Center, Jefferson, part of UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside, allows patients to receive advanced medical oncology services that would otherwise require a drive into the city.

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) have partnered with community-based hospitals throughout the region to develop UPMC Cancer Centers, one of the largest integrated community networks of cancer physicians and health care specialists in the country.
