UPMC and The Washington Hospital Cancer Center

UPMC and the Washington Hospital Cancer Center is a joint venture which opened in late 2006 to provide radiation therapy, including IMRT, to the Washington area. This center is a part of one of the largest integrated community networks of cancer physicians and health care specialists in the country. This center provides only Radiation Oncology treatment; Medical Oncology treatment is performed at the nearby UPMC Cancer Center Washington.

This center allows patients to receive cutting edge radiation therapy, previously requiring excessive travel, without having to leave their communities.
