UPMC Cancer Centers Presents, "A Reason to Hope: Genetics and Cancer"


PITTSBURGH, May 12 – To provide more information on genetics and cancer, the UPMC Cancer Centers and the Lawrence County Cancer Coalition will sponsor, "A Reason to Hope: Genetics and Cancer," from 6 to 7:30 pm, Thursday, May 25, at the Challenges Center at Shenley Square, 2706 Mercer Rd., New Castle, PA

Christina Chimera, MS, genetic counselor for the UPMC Cancer Genetics Program, will present the lecture.

The talk is one in a series of cancer lectures sponsored by the UPMC Cancer Centers for patients, their families and the public.

The presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required and space is limited. Free parking will be available at the Challenges Center. For more information and to register, please call 800-533-UPMC (8762).
