Magee-Womens Hospital Offers Information on Ovarian Cancer
PITTSBURGH, Aug 15 – Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Pittsburgh Division are sponsoring the Ovarian Cancer Education Series from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 11 in the Tower Lobby Conference Room at Magee-Womens Hospital, 300 Halket St., Oakland.
The Ovarian Cancer Education Series is for individuals seeking up-to-date information about ovarian cancer survivors, women recently diagnosed or women and their family members concerned about the disease.
The goal of the program is to help attendees understand the illness, provide information about treatments and what to expect and to help affected individuals make informed health care decisions.
A light dinner will be served 30 minutes prior to the program.
