Prostate Date: There’s nothing more intimate than your health

PITTSBURGH, August 10, 2007 – On Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, UPMC Cancer Centers will be recognizing September as Prostate Cancer Awareness month by hosting Prostate Date, an educational dinner for couples. Men and their partners will learn about the importance of early detection and the latest treatment options available for prostate cancer.
The program will be held at Hillman Cancer Center, ground floor. Hors d’oeuvres will be served in the atrium from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a lecture and panel discussion from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the Cooper Classrooms. To register, call 1-800-533-UPMC (8762). There is no cost and free parking is available.
