Radiation Oncology
A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. Werner is medical director of the UPMC Cancer Center at St. Clair Hospital. He comes to UPMC from the Cleveland Clinic Health System, where he served as a medical director in the department of radiation Oncology. Board-certified in Radiation Oncology, Dr. Werner received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and has been practicing radiation oncology since 1991. Prior to his position at the Cleveland Clinic Health System, he served as medical director at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and medical director at the Upper Delaware Valley Cancer Center in Milford, PA.
