Surgical Oncology
Dr. Gamblin is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. As a surgical oncologist, his clinical interests center on hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer. He has advanced training in minimally invasive cancer surgery and regional chemotherapy. Dr. Gamblin is a member of many professional and scientific societies, including: Society of Surgical Oncology, American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Association for Academic Surgery.
Dr. Gamblin has published more than 30 scientific papers and book chapters and has presented more than 40 lectures on surgical issues to regional and national audiences. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Research and plays a key role in the Liver Cancer Center's clinical research efforts. Dr. Gamblin is an avid outdoorsman and when not at work can be found enjoying seasonal sports with his wife and two children.
