Medical Oncology
Shannon L. Puhalla, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist at UPMC Cancer Center at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. She received her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rootstown, Ohio. She completed her residency and hematology-oncology fellowship training at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Puhalla also completed a breast cancer fellowship at The Ohio State University.
Her research interests include early phase clinical trials in breast cancer and drug development and she is involved in the UPCI Molecular Therapeutics and Drug Discovery Program.
