Radiation Oncology
Charles Collier, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist and the newest member of the cancer care team at UPMC Cancer Center at UPMC Northwest and UPMC Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital.
Dr. Collier came to UPMC from the western New York communities of Hornell and Olean, where he was chief radiation oncologist for Regional Cancer Care. Previously, his career as a specialist in radiation therapy included seven years of practice with New York Oncology Hematology in Amsterdam, NY, three years with Capitol District Oncology in Hudson, NY, 11 years with the Veterans Administration/Regional Radiation Oncology Program in Albany, NY, and one year with Adirondack Radiology Group in Glen Falls, NY. While with the VA/Regional program, he also practiced for several years at hospitals in both the Albany and Hudson areas.
The Massachusetts native and Oil City resident is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His postgraduate medical education included a three-year residency and three years of fellowship study in radiation oncology, both at the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. In addition to holding board certification in radiation oncology, Dr. Collier has fellowship status in the American College of Radiology.
