Medical Oncology
Dr. Viverette came to the Greensburg area as a medical oncologist/hematologist in 1995. He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia. Following a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at the Medical College of Virginia and was a visiting staff fellow at the National Cancer Institute Frederick Cancer Research Facility. Dr. Viverette is certified by he American Board of Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty in medical oncology. He is a past recipient of the Leo Criep Award for Humanistic Approach to Patient Care.
