UPMC Cancer Centers’ team of endocrine surgeons is dedicated to the surgical management of parathyroid, thyroid, adrenal, and pancreatic islet tumors. We work closely with family physicians, internists, and endocrinologists to provide the most comprehensive care for patients with multiple endocrine tumor syndromes including, MEN-1, MEN-2a, von Hippel Lindau disease, and other inherited pheochromocytoma or tumor syndromes.
UPMC surgeons have particular expertise in a number of highly specialized technologies, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and offer office ultrasonography to plan the smallest incisions possible.
